Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free, via slopes with varying degrees of gradient.
There is step-free level access (via slopes with a grade of less than 5%) on the approach from the building short stay and accessible parking. - There is step-free level access to all areas of the building once inside, including the post office and admissions office, via the elevators.
- Parrish Hall has 8 entrances.
The accessible entrance - PA-3 provides step-free access, via ramp, to the first floor.
There is also step-free level access to the ground floor by utilizing the Shane Lounge entrance - PA-5, and then going through Shane Lounge and entering Parrish Hall via the Shane Lounge internal entrance. - The entrances are signed as 'Parrish Hall - PA-1', 'Parrish Hall - PA-3', 'Parrish Hall - PA-4', 'Parrish Hall - PA-5', 'PA-7', 'PA-9', and 'PA-10'.
There are two entrances signed with 'PA-3'. The accessible entrance - PA-3 is located to the right hand side of the building, opposite the Dean Bond Rose Garden. . - The accessible entrance - PA-3 provides step-free access, via ramp, to the first floor.
There is then step-free level access through the building to the east elevator and west elevator, which in turn provide step-free level access to all other floors. - The PA-1 entrance has stepped access, with 6 steps, followed by two sets of double manual doors.
