“We,” “us,” “our,” and the like means AccessAble.  We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy (or “Policy”) (together with our Cookie Policy and Terms and Conditions “Terms”) sets out the basis on which any Personal Information (as applicable laws may define this term or its equivalent) we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.  Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your Personal Information and how we will treat it.  By using our website, available at: www.AccessAbleUSA.com (“our website”) and/or the AccessAble mobile application (the website and mobile application collectively, “Platform”) you are consenting to the data collection and processing expressed in the Terms.  The Terms apply solely to the information collected by our Platform.  If you do not agree to the Terms, please do not access or use our Platform.  In addition, your continued use of our Platform following the posting of any updates or changes shall mean that you agree and accept such changes.

Information we may collect

In connection with your use of our Platform, we may collect Personal Information such as your name, email address, or other information, including but not limited to transactional information you may upload to our Platform, such as your username and password.  In addition, we may collect information regarding your use of our Platform through the use of cookies (described in our Cookie Policy), and process the following data about you:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Platform, or any other products or services offered on our Platform.  This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Platform, subscribing to our service or requesting further services.  We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our Platform.
  • If you contact us, a record of our correspondence.
  • If you complete a survey that we ask you to complete for research purposes, a copy of your answers.  Although you do not have to respond to any surveys we send you.
  • Details of your visits to our Platform including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data. 
  • We use Google Analytics to collect user data.  Our website sends aggregated, non-Personal Information to Google Analytics for the purpose of providing us with the ability to conduct technical and statistical analysis on our website’s performance.  For more information on how Google Analytics supports our website and uses information sent from our website, please review Google’s privacy policy as of November 14, 2023.  Please note this policy is subject to potential revisions.

IP Addresses

We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type for system administration.  This is statistical data about your browsing actions and patterns and does not identify any individual.

Our Platform uses cookies to distinguish you from other users, enhance your browsing experience, and help us to improve our Platform.  For detailed information on the cookies we use and the purposes for which we use them, see our Cookie Policy.  The Cookie Policy is part of our Privacy Policy.

Where we store your Personal Information

All information you provide to us is stored on our servers.

  • If AccessAble or substantially all of our assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of transfer or sale of some or all of our business, whether as part of a bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, Personal Information held by us about our users may be one of the transferred assets along with the business as part of any such transaction.
  • In any other way we describe when you provide the information or for any other purpose with your consent.

Your rights

Our Platform contains links to and from the websites of our Charity and Community Partners and various third-party social media features including but not limited to those relating to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other interactive programs, which are third parties over whom we have no control.  If you interact with these features and/or websites, please note that this Privacy Policy no longer applies, these websites have their own privacy policies, and we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies or websites, what information they collect, and how that information may be used or shared.  Please check these policies before you submit any Personal Information to these websites.  This Policy applies solely to the information collected by our Platform.

Access to information

You have the right to access information held about you.  Your right of access can be reasonably exercised.

Unsubscribe or opt-out

You have the option to discontinue receiving marketing communications from us by way of email or newsletters.  To discontinue or unsubscribe from such communications, please send an email that you wish to unsubscribe to [email protected]. If you wish to unsubscribe or opt-out from any third-party websites, you must go to that specific website to unsubscribe or opt out.  Notwithstanding such opt out, we reserve the right to continue to contact you regarding information that you requested, transactions, sales, or other non-marketing purposes as may be necessary.

Online Tracking / Do Not Track Signals

“Do Not Track” signals are options available on your browser to tell operators of websites that you do not wish to have your online activity tracked.  Our website is not currently set up to respond to these signals. If you choose to block cookies and other trackers, certain features of our website may not work.  On a mobile device, you may also be able to adjust your settings to limit ad tracking.

We operate in the United States

If you use our Platform outside of the United States or are located in a country other than the United States that has laws and policies governing the disclosure and management of your Personal Information, you understand and agree that the information you exchange with our Platform may be maintained indefinitely on systems located within the United States or the systems of those third parties with whom we share it as described in the Terms that are located in the United States.  By using our Platform, you understand and consent to the collection, storage, processing, and transfer of your information to our facilities in the United States and to those third parties with whom we share it as described in the Terms located in the United States.  If you do not agree, cease using our Platform immediately.

Information security; No liability

You acknowledge and agree that any transmission of information to our Platform is made at your own risk.  You understand that electronic communications may be accessed by unauthorized parties when communicated across the internet, network communications facilities, or other electronic means.  You understand and agree that we are not responsible for any electronic communication or any of your information which may be lost, altered, intercepted, or stored without authorization during the transmission of any data whatsoever across networks not owned or operated by us.

Changes to our Privacy Policy and Terms

We reserve the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy and Terms at any time, without notice to you and without liability to you or to any third party.  If you want to make sure that you are up to date with the latest changes, we advise you to visit this page periodically.
