- The most accessible route has an elevator.
- This is via the elevator at the Wallace Hall entrance.
- There is step-free level access to enter.
- There is written text signage on or near the door.
- The door to enter opens outwards and has a high color contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The door requires effort to open.
- The width of the door opening is 2ft 7in (80cm).

- There is step-free level access in this area.
- There are chairs with and without armrests, couches, high stools, tables, high tables, long tables and reading/study desks in this area.
- There are some tables at a suitable height for wheelchair users.
- The flooring consists of deep pile carpet.
- Lighting levels are bright.
- This library is able to provide material in the following formats: Braille, large print and audio.
- Auxiliary aids available in this library include: ergonomic chairs, adjustable foot rests, headsets and audio recorders.
