About

  • The property has its own parking facilities.

  • This residential college is made up of 5 buildings.
  • New Graduate College is made up of 3 residential buildings and 2 communal buildings which are located around 2 courtyards.
    Some of the buildings have 4 levels which are signed B, 1, 2 and 3.
    The other buildings have 3 levels, where you enter on level 1 and the levels are signed as 1, 2, and 3.
    There are no elevators in these buildings and every entrance has its own stairway.

Getting Inside

  • New Graduate College has a level approach from the courtyard areas and a sloped approach from the parking spaces.
    There are ramps and steps to get around the courtyard.
  • New Graduate College has 13 stepped manual entrances with varying numbers of steps into the residential buildings.
    There are an additional 5 entrances into the 2 communal buildings which all have step-free level access and manual doors, however you can't get into any accommodation rooms through these buildings.
  • The entrances are signed as 22&23, 23&24, 24&25, 26, 27&28 (x2), 28&29, 29, 30&31, 31&32, 32&33, 33&34 and 34.
    The entrances into the communal buildings are not signed.
  • The most accessible accommodation entrance surveyed (entrance 31 and 32) has steps and a manual door, the other entrance surveyed is one of the 5 level entrances into the communal buildings.

Getting Around

  • All residential buildings have stepped access to get to the rooms.
  • The rooms are accessed via stairways and there are no communal facilities within the residence buildings apart from the laundry room on the basement level which has stepped access.
  • There is stepped access inside one of the front communal buildings to get into the kitchen area.
  • Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
    The flooring types are stone, tile, wood and vinyl.
