Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free and level if accessing from Elm Drive.

There are 4 unsigned sets of doors into the Guggenheim Gallery.

All other entrances have manual doors. - The entrance in the Whitman College lower courtyard signed as Community Hall Entrance 2 has stepped access down into the Dining Hall.
There are also 22 steps leading up to the courtyard from Elm Drive.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access throughout the building except for the 1970 Theater which is accessed via a ramp with a gradient of 8%.
- Floor surfaces along most circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
